Joni Ernst, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Iowa, urging viewers to press her on the anti-abortion group Susan B. Anthony List, which is named after a prominent suffragist and feminist from the early 20th century."Who does the List support? People like Todd Akin—who said women’s bodies could prevent pregnancies during 'legitimate rape,' a narrator in the 60-second ad released Thursday said. "Or Richard Mourdock, who said pregnancy from rape is 'something God intended to happen.' They oppose abortion, even in cases of rape and incest."
The ad then moves toward Ernst.
