You can click here to add your name:I’ve got good news:The Senate was able to come to a bipartisan agreement yesterday to renew unemployment insurance, which would restore a vital lifeline to thousands of families in Hawaii and millions of Americans who have had this program cut off since December of last year.
With so many people struggling to provide for their families, this agreement took far too long to reach. But I'm glad we were finally able to get enough Republicans on board that we will be able to overcome the filibuster of the bill.
Now, we just need to make sure the Republican-controlled House passes this bill.
Sign my petition: tell Republicans in the House not to block this vital lifeline to Americans who are looking for work.
