Does Sink loss in Florida prove Democratic Party is insane? With poll.

If the definition of insane is doing the same thing and expecting different results then I'd say Democrats are insane.

And most analysis of the Democratic loss in Florida is useless.

Alex Sink lost by less than 2%.

How much did the luxury of ignoring right wing radio, same as always, cost in votes?

5%? 10%? 20%?

And RW radio is practically free for the GOP, ALEC, and the Kochs.

All the other factors are normal for both parties- print, tv, internet, money, get out the vote, tactics, etc. Same as always, we can analyze the results of this election for weeks as to relative wins and fails and comparisons of those factors and whether Sink was progressive or smart or aggressive enough. But most of it is useless because the left ignores the talk radio advantage.

I'll bet a poll of republican voters in this election would likely show 90% of them with a maximum of 2 degrees of separation from the talk radio gods, their myths, their distortions, and their lies. I've never seen that polled.

Most or all pro-Jolly and anti-Sink advertisements were probably based on or reinforced by the unchallenged groundwork repetition done by months and years of talk radio. They probably used the same old talking points and memes.

Did democrats monitor the main RW stations and their blowhards in Florida? That could be much easier now with modern transcription software such as that available for free with the new Mac OS.

Did anyone talk back or protest when they attacked and lied about Alex Sink and the issues? The Walker emails have clear examples of how useful talk radio is to GOP candidates.

And how many state-funded Florida colleges nullified the activism of their students, faculty, and alumni in support of Sink by renting their sports team logos to those stations and their blowhards? How can that be acceptable to Democrats in Florida?

Most of the analysis is a trivial waste of time if dems and progressives continue to ignore one of the biggest factors in modern politics.

There is no angle progressives can pursue that can make more of a difference in the November 2014 elections.

It's time for something completely different.
